VIENNA. -- Thousands of Viennese saw yesterday morning an "unidentified flying object" that flew over the Austrian capital between 6:13 and 6:20 a.m. It appeared in the form of a shining disc with a tail from which flames burst [a meteor, in short]. In Styria, many people observed at the same time a craft whose description matched that given by the inhabitants of Vienna.
Prague Radio announced last night that flying saucers had been seen over Czechoslovak territory.
This is the first time that a country situated east of the "Iron Curtain" has reported the presence of such craft [not] over its territory.
