WUERZBURG (Bavaria). -- Professor Otto Hahn, Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, stated at a scientific meeting that "no sane man can believe the absurdities told about flying saucers."
"If men came from Mars or elsewhere," he added with a smile, "they would come down to say hello, instead of circling at high altitude."
ROME. -- Thousands of people, including military personnel from aeronautical observation services, saw a mysterious, shining object flying over Rome on Friday afternoon. The object, shaped like a half-cigar, was flying at 1,200 meters altitude and eventually disappeared northwest toward the sea.
